Boarding the aircraft

Tiger Airways operates a single-class cabin and gives you the option to select a seat when making your reservation. This is chargeable on a per sector per passenger basis via the website or the call centre. Extra legroom/emergency exit seats can also be purchased on a per sector per passenger. You should be at the boarding gate at least 30 minutes prior to departure. Boarding closes 20 minutes prior to departure. Passengers arriving late at the boarding gate will not be accepted for travel, their bags will be offloaded and no compensation given. For travel on a later flight, you will be required to purchase a new ticket at the applicable fare.

At many Tiger Airways destinations the aircraft is boarded using the aircraft steps. If you feel that you require assistance in boarding, please contact our call centres at least 72 hours prior to departure in order that we may facilitate your embarkation.
