Verified by Visa
Verified by Visa (VbV) and MasterCard SecureCode (MCSC) are new ways to add safety when you buy online. Adding a password to your existing Visa or MasterCard Credit Card ensures that only you can use your Credit Card online. It's easy to activate for your existing Credit Card, and it's free. This password is entered at Visa or MasterCard's website and kept by Visa and MasterCard for use on the growing number of websites that support Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode.
VbV and MCSC provides additional security to the Credit Card Holder and the Vendor. Simply activate your card when prompted and create your personal password. You'll get the added confidence that your Credit Card is safe when you shop online.
Each Credit Card issuing bank deal with VbV and MCSC differently, so you may encounter different activation processes. Just verify your identity, create your password and you're done.
