What benefits can I enjoy with my Stripes membership?
As a member of Stripes, you can purchase our incredibly low fares online, sometimes even from as low as zero dollars (excluding taxes and charges)! Yes, pay absolutely nothing! Here are just a few of the benefits included with your membership:
  • Buy before everyone else online every single time;
  • Share the savings - your exclusive fare on www.tigerairways.com applies to all travellers booked on your reservation (subject to availability of course); and
  • Special partner offers on hotels, rental cars and other cool stuff from time to time.

Do Stripes members get a different fare from non-members and the general public?
Whenever Tiger Airways puts up its fantastic promotional fares, Stripes members get to jump the queue and book before everyone else. After the exclusive booking period is over, the promo fares are then accessible by non-members and the general public. Getting in before the rest means a higher chance of getting the fares on the date and the times that you want to fly as these promo fares are usually very limited in quantity.

Do Stripes members get to see the promos before non-members and the general public?
Everyone gets to see the fantastic offers and promotions at the same time. However, Stripes members can book immediately when they get the EDM. Non-members will have to wait until the exclusive member period is over. You can see the countdown clock for the Stripes exclusive period on the homepage every a promotion is running.

How much does an annual membership cost?
An annual membership in the Tiger Airways Stripes for now only costs the introductory price of AUD29.95 for Australian residents and SGD29.95 for non-residents of Australia.

How do I sign up?
Please visit the Stripes enrollment page here to enroll. Once your application has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email with your Stripes ID. Please remember to use your Stripes ID and the password you provided to login to your account to start enjoying your membership privileges.


Using your membership

How do I use my Stripes membership?
Using your Stripes membership is easy as 1-2-3!
  • Log in to Stripes account on tigerairways.com.
  • Look for the "Welcome Message" to confirm that you have successfully logged in.
  • Search for your desired travel dates and destinations as you would normally.
  • The lowest available fares will then be displayed.
Please note that Stripes benefits are only available on www.tigerairways.com. Reservations made through the Tiger Airways call-centre or at an airport ticket counter do not qualify for Stripes fares or benefits.

For your security, please change your password and update your contact information after your initial login. This will also ensure that you do not miss any sales and statements via email.

What is my login or password for my Stripes account?
Stripes members should use the password you have chosen/registered during the signup process.

In the case where you forgot your password, you can reset your password via the 'Forgot Password' link on the tigerairways.com website.

Why must the member be part of the travelling party?
Membership to Stripes is exclusive and non-transferable. After logging into your account, you will be defaulted as the first passenger in the booking. However, you are most welcome to include your friends/family in your travelling party so that they can enjoy the great promo that members have access to before the general public.

Can I use my Stripes membership over the phone and at the airport?
Stripes benefits are only available while you are logged in at www.tigerairways.com. The Tiger Airways call-centre and airport ticket counter agents are not able to view or book Stripes fares or benefits.

Can I use my Stripes membership for other people?
Membership benefits apply to all passengers on a single itinerary, as long as the club member is travelling on the same reservation and flights. However, since travel plans can change, Tiger Airways recommends that each passenger has a separate membership to qualify for applicable discounts. Changes or modifications to bookings may require a service fee and any applicable difference in the fare.

Why can't I access the lowest fares advertised?
  • Check to see that you are logged into your Stripes account.
  • Ensure that you are an active Stripes member. For more information please click here.
  • Our sale fares are extremely popular and may sell out. Our website will automatically display the lowest available member fare at the time of your search.

I received an email with a $0 fare, however I only see fares that are higher?
Please keep in mind that our sale fares are popular and are offered on a first come, first serve basis. Therefore they may sell out for a particular date or flight. If you have flexible travel plans, we recommend searching for alternate dates of travel which may still have sale fares available. Our website will automatically display the lowest available member fare at the time of your search.

How do I know if I am a Stripes Member?
  • Log in to your Stripes account with your Stripes ID and password.
  • Once you have successfully logged in, you will see the welcome message in the Stripes section at the top right section of the webpage.
  • When searching for flights, you will automatically see fares that are labelled Stripes. All fares are inclusive of your member discount and any valid promotional codes that were added at the time of your search.

I have paid for Stripes membership, but I didn't see any welcome email in my registered email Inbox?
  • If you didn't receive any welcome email from Stripes in the Inbox of your registered email, please check in the Junk/Bulk folder of your mail and please do add Stripes to your address book to prevent our emails from going there in future.
  • If all else fails, please contact our call centre should you need further assistance. It is important that you provide our call centre with the correct information such as the registered email address for Stripes to us to assist you promptly.

I have my Stripes ID and password, but the system keeps prompting me with an 'Invalid access' message during my attempts to log-in, what should I do?
  • Use the combination of Stripes ID and password to log into your Stripes account. If you still unable to log-in, try resetting your password via 'Forgot Password' link available on our website. Check in the Inbox/Junk/Bulk folder of your registered email for Stripes for the new password.

  • Please ensure that the email you used to register for Stripes is the same one you are using to log-in to your account.
  • If you still unable to log-in, try resetting your password via the 'Forgot Password' link available on our website.
Please check the Inbox/Junk/Bulk folder of your registered email for Stripes for the new password.

How do I update my membership details?
Please submit your request through our Customer Support Portal stating your Stripes ID and your full name.

Why was my membership cancelled?
Membership may be cancelled for the following reasons:
  • Your billing or card information provided was not valid or has expired.
  • Stripes is an annual program, so your membership may have ended already.
  • You cancelled your membership.

Can I sign up again, if my membership was cancelled?

Memberships cancelled prior to their renewal date cannot be reactivated and a new membership term will begin with your re-enrollment.

The fare for my flight has decreased - can I receive a refund or credit for the difference?
Stripes members receive the lowest available fare available for their itinerary at the time of booking. There is no refund or credit for fare differences.

However, customers have the ability to make modifications to their reservation on www.tigerairways.com.

Please note, Stripes benefits including exclusive sale fares are only available on www.tigerairways.com.


How do I renew my membership?
The renewal of the membership must be completed online by the Member. The notification of such renewal requirements will be provided by Tiger Airways. Renewed membership is effective for a period of one calendar year following the renewal date.


How do I cancel my Stripes membership?
We would be sorry if you decided to leave the Stripes! Please remember that your membership is prepaid for your whole membership term.

Cancellations are processed immediately and you will no longer have access to your flight discount, sales and other member benefits. All membership fees paid are non-refundable.

Memberships cancelled prior to their renewal date cannot be reactivated and a new membership term will begin if you decide to rejoin the Stripes.


Can I receive a refund for my Stripes membership?
Stripes membership fees are non-refundable.
