The Itinerary is prima facie evidence of the contract for carriage between passenger and Tiger Airways. The Itinerary, the Booking Reference, the Terms & Conditions of Carriage and the conditions contained herein and any other prevailing regulations Tiger Airways may have together constitute the terms and conditions of the contract between the passenger and Tiger Airways. None of our agents, employees nor representatives has authority to alter, modify or waive any provisions of these conditions. Tiger Airways seat selector terms and conditionsThe Tiger Airways Seat Selector is not a check-in system; passengers are still required to arrive at check-in 2 hours prior to departure. Check-in closes promptly 45 minutes prior to departure, any passengers not completing the check in process within this time will not be accepted for travel. Failure to check-in on time or board the flight on time may result in you being denied boarding. We also reserve the right to re-allocate any seat numbers should passengers fail to check-in within 45 minutes of departure.Seats are assigned separately for outbound and return flights. Please ensure when using the Seat Selector that seats are assigned for all passengers in your party and each leg of your journey. Seat requests are only available on line until 24 hours prior to departure. All Seat Selector fees are non-refundable. All Seat Selector fees for Australian Domestic Flights include the prevailing GST taxes. Seat Selector fees are transferable should you change your flight. Seat requests will be honoured wherever possible. However they cannot be guaranteed. Please be aware that if a window seat and an aisle seat are assigned, the airline reserves the right to assign the middle seat on all rows. The airline reserves the right to block off selected seats. Passengers selecting to sit in the seats adjacent to the aircraft emergency exits are required by law and safety regulations to meet certain criteria. Passengers must be willing to help open the exit in the event of an evacuation. They must be fit and able-bodied, over the age of 15, have weight in proportion to height and be able to understand the safety briefing which will be given in English on board the flight. Please note that some emergency exit seats onboard our aircraft cannot be reclined as they would obstruct access to the exit. Seat requests may be altered at check-in or on board if passengers do not meet these criteria. If you, or members of your party, are moved because you do not meet the stated standard safety criteria then you will not be offered a refund of Seat Selector fees. For safety reasons, passengers travelling with infants are only allowed to occupy certain seats. In the event that more than one infant is seated in a row, you may be asked to move by the cabin crew. If you, or members of your party, are moved for safety reasons then you will not be offered a refund of Seat Selector fees. Passengers with medical conditions or reduced mobility are advised to contact our call centre to arrange their seat selection and to request assistance if required. Please note that if you do require special assistance when travelling with Tiger Airways you must book via the Tiger Airways dedicated call centre at least five (5) days before your schedule departure. Failure to notify the call centre of your requirements will result in the service being unavailable on arrival at the airport and passengers being denied carriage. When making the reservation with our call centre please advice the level of assistance you require; there may be an additional fee levied for additional services provided by external vendors. If passengers make changes to flight details, we will endeavour to assign the same seats. However, this is not guaranteed. In circumstances such as this, no refunds are permitted for pre-assigned seats. In the event of any flight disruption, delays or cancellations, the airline will make every effort to place passengers in the same or similar seats. However this may not be possible. In circumstances such as this, no refunds of Seat Selector fees are made for pre-assigned seats. |
